Each day 70,000 thoughts go through your mind. Which ones are you listening to?
What is CBT?
How cognitive behavioral therapy helps:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented approach that helps individuals understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Together, we identify and challenge negative, unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies to respond constructively, and in ways that feel manageable and realistic. This is accomplished with:

-
Structured, goal-focused sessions
-
Tools you can use between sessions
-
Collaborative and at your pace

How does it work?
Treatment structure
Sessions are structured and collaborative. We explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors behind your difficulties and create practical CBT strategies tailored to your goals.

Sessions typically include reviewing the past week, learning and practicing CBT tools, and discussing between-session exercises.
CBT focuses on practical tools you can use in daily life — not just talking, but learning how to change patterns that keep you stuck.

About Me
My name is Elli David
I am a state-certified low-intensity cognitive behavioral therapist, specialising in anxiety disorders (including panic and phobias) and mild to moderate depression. My work is grounded in evidence-based CBT and guided by the belief that therapy should be collaborative, practical, and supportive.

I offer a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences openly and work toward meaningful, positive change. My approach focuses on identifying and shifting unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, while building resilience, self-awareness, and lasting skills for daily life.
I hold an AA in Psychology from California, a BA in Psychology from Reichman University, and certification as a low-intensity CBT therapist from Wingate Institute, Netanya. My training includes several years of study and clinical preparation through both Reichman University and the Wingate Institute.

I value the trust clients place in me and find it meaningful to support them through their growth. I look forward to working with you.

More About CBT
Is CBT right for you?
CBT, or cognitive-behavioral therapy, is a practical, short-term, and goal-oriented therapy intended for people suffering from treating anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, depression, and low self-esteem.
It strongly emphasizes self-help, focuses on achieving goals through behavioral change and mental exercises by identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to undesired symptoms.
CBT is set apart from other forms of therapy because of its evidence-based nature: this therapy form has been rigorously tested and proven effective in numerous clinical trials, with substantial studies demonstrating its effectiveness.

Ultimately, CBT provides effective tools and strategies for managing symptoms in the long term!
"Change starts one thought at a time."
